Roo was famous for the bathroom trip. It didn’t matter where he was in the house, as soon as I shut that bathroom door he would be there in 30 seconds or less…he wanted in and so I would let him in and then he wanted out. LOL
And if I didn’t come out as fast as he thought that I should, he would want back in again. I know he thought that there was some secret exit in the bathroom and that I was going to sneak off. LOL He wasn’t having any of that.

Roo was put to rest on November 28, 2011.
His presence in our lives is missed every single day.
Roo’s spirit taught me so much about appreciating life…right now.
His sweet soul and kind heart will live on…
for as long as I live, he shall not die.

Cats are so funny. Our family cat loves the bathroom. Everytime you walk that way, even if you were going to walk past she comes running. She loves to be pet while we are on the toilet. lol.

What is it with cats and bathrooms? Apparently, our use of bathrooms reveals fascinating aspects of our personas - to cats, anyway. It's plain to see Roo has concluded a phase of his Bathroom Patrol duties and must report - To whom? - his scientific observations.

Since I'm the only human in our home, I can leave the bathroom door open. Many humans are not so fortunate in that regard. I used to close the door, out of force of habit, but eventually learned (thanks to several cats over the years) that doing so was a waste of everyone's time.

I'll leave you with this image. Thanks a bunch for sharing Roo's photograph with us!

Nice to have a smile about Roo, now, though, isn't it? A smile...with a trickle of a tear, still...

A trickle of a tear is putting it very mildly. LOL

I still cannot get through my day without crying, it's really crazy how much I miss that guy. He really brought so much to my world.

But it does feel good to smile, remembering good times.

Thank you.

Oh, I know it's got to be more than just a trickle. I still have more than a trickle when I read about him, and I never even met him! :ohmygod: I still cry a lot over my Susie and it will be two years the 29th of this month. So, it does take a very long time. But, those smiles are worth a lot, too, aren't they?! Glad you're able to have a few of those every now and then, too!
