The day before he took his life.....
I wanted to go take some pictures because the sky was amazing that day. I asked Patrick if he would go with me because wandering around the woods up here is not always safe alone. I remember looking at him periodically in between shots, I get really exited about clouds and nature and I could see that he was amused by my reactions to each shot. Several times I said " Isn't this amazing Patrick, so Beautiful" he said "yes it is" but he said it without looking up, instead he was looking at me, his look though different than I had seen in the past. Looking back, I know the look was about goodbye, I hope where ever he is now, he remembers me on that day. |
