Mikey's Wagon Ride

You know, Mikey has always been a bit different than most cats, being deaf really changes the way a cat acts and reacts. Mikey enjoys riding in the car without being in a carrier (which doesn't happen too much because I usually seat belt his carrier in LOL) Mikey likes to take showers, not so much a bath. Mikey likes it when I get the shop vac out and suck up his fur in it. (The fur on his body) He likes my little hand vac too but the shop vac more.
Mikey is a people cat, he relies on us for his well being but more than that he enjoys our company and it shows. We play hide and seek every morning and he actually plays the game. He likes to be with us all the time which is why I purchased a harness for him. Seeing him sit in the window while Haley and I were outside, being excluded for his own safety (We live in Mountain Lion Country) was heartbreaking, he didn't understand.
So now Mikey gets to go outside and as you see here , he is fully participating in the outside events.
Mikey won't walk with the harness yet, he just rolls over when I try to get him to walk so Haley's idea was to put him in the wagon so we could go for a walk.
At first I laughed and thought there was no way in heck that he would go for this but he did, he never even tried to jump out even when we stopped. I watched him as he just took it all in, it was beautiful. Haley said "Mom, we got the coolest cat ever" I had to agree.

Getting this shot was a bit tricky as I was holding the harness with one hand and trying to hold my camera with the other, but I knew I wanted this moment in pictures, a moment I will not soon forget of a cat that is unforgettable.
